Study of Interchangeability of Helicopter Mi-171 Fuel Tanks to Improve Operational Safety

  • Original language description

Improving operational safety is a priority in the operation of any aircraft or helicopter. One such measure leading to increased operational safety is the introduction of new auxiliary fuel tanks on Mi-171 helicopters operated by the Czech Army. The problem of the new fuel tanks is the unsolved system of connection of these tanks to the fuel system. In this paper, a proposal for a possible solution is presented, including a proposal for verification of this technology.Improving operational safety is a priority in the operation of any aircraft or helicopter.
