    FPGA Based Security System with Remote Control functions

  • Original language description

    In the paper a home security system with some remote control functions is presented. The main control logic is realized with reconfigurable FPGA logic, which executes separate functions concurrently. The remote control ensures a GSM telephone access to switch heating devices and to replay a status message. In case of object violation the security system in conjunction with cameras and video recorder monitors the secured areas, runs the siren and dials predefined telephone numbers. In the FPGA is also implemented the serial communication interface for communication with PC, which performs additional user functions, e.g. event logging
