Industrial sources of disturbing elektromagnetic fields
Original language description
The power distribution systems feeding industrial equipment which operate electric arc are often subjected to the disturbances caused by irregular voltage fluctuations. These voltage fluctuations are caused primarily by the irregular current loads imposed by the arc equipment. This loading induces voltage drops at the network impedances, resulting in voltage variations as a reaction of the arc equipment to conditions in the feed network. Investigations of load changes in the feed systems have shown thatthe current intensity fluctuations observed on industrial equipment arise essentially by the superimposition of two types of current pulses. This changes of currents are sources of changing and disturbing electromagnetic fields.
