Original language description
Overvoltage effects and total effectuality in inverter fed drives are discussed here. This paper is focused on quality of output voltage and power loses of an inverter and a long power cable feeding an asynchronous motor. There are compared simulated andexperimental results of measured samples in this paper. The power losses of a hard switched inverter were investigated both standalone and with repair means (dv/dt filter, sine wave filter). High frequency models of induction motor and power cable suitable for determination of overvoltage at motor clamps are used in the numerical simulation. The simulation was made for comparison of qualities of different types of inverters both hard switched inverter and soft switched inverter with resonant DC link inPSPICE environment using mostly models of real parts.
