    This article deals with properties oscillator with optical fibers in positive feedback. With this way arisen fiber optical oscillator with a resonant frequency dependent on transmission in feedback fiber allows to measure the attenuation of optical fiberand its changes depending on external influences by the help of oscillator frequency measurement. Near expected oscillator frequency 105 - 106 Hz this procedure allows exact measurement of attenuation in transmission optical fiber and optical fiber sensors. There are a wiring principle of construction and basic measured records mentioned in the article.
