For determination of faults of mechanical and electrical characters is applicable diagnostic method harmonic analysis of windings currents. Interference of magnetic field in the air gap of induction machines is common feature of mechanical and electricalfaults. Field incidence between stator and rotor creates mentioned changes of magnetic field in the air gap. Incurred exciting field evokes response at vibrating spectrum. The change of magnetic field evokes deformation of stator current too. Static anddynamic eccentricity, interruption of rotor cage, short-circuit of stator's winding, short circuit or released armature stampings belongs to faults evocatory change of magnetic field in the air gap of induction machines.
