The problems detection of faults in the high-voltage systems is very needful for keeping of stability and reliable system running. For detection of 1phase faults lot of methods exists presently. These methods are varied from aspect of principle, application and so on. The method localization of earth fault in the high-voltage system by external system is described within this paper.
