In this paper, we present a new technique for determining the motion field in the image sequences that is based on possibility theory and that provides a good trade-off between the accuracy and speed of computation. We present the theoretical backgroundof the method, the description of the corresponding algorithm, and experimental results. The method may be regarded as accurate and fast at the same time.
