This paper takes down the knowledge of some assets of reclosers and other remote controlled elements in medium voltage outdoor network. The introduction of remote-controlled components, such as outdoor disconnecting switches, reclosers and other automation components is one of the ways to increase the reliability of electrical energy supply. Points of introduction of these components can be determined suitably by the methods of multi-criteria analysis
