    The paper deals with the one of the possibility of using the impulse current source for finding out of reliability of low voltage circuit breaker. For control and operating of impulse current source is used the PLC (programmable logic controller) in connection with DAQ measurement card and LabView software. Output results of measurement com-prise time dependence of short-circuit current, voltage drop on circuit breaker and also the voltage drop on circuit breaker in case of nominal current. The work described in this publication is a part of pro-ject: Research of the reliability of power systems in connec-tion with non-traditional ecological sources of energy and valuation of unsupplied energy, code: MSM 6198910007, supported by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
