Original language description
In this paper, it will be described the IPsec VPN (Internet Protocol security Virtual Private Network) technology and its influence on transmission parameters of the network. It will be shown results of throughput and delay measurements in an experimental network using different types of cryptographic algorithms (symmetric, asymmetric, hash functions). It will be also analyzed the influence of the packet length of transmitted packets on transmission parameters.
