    Asynchronous Motor Working as Generator with VSI Using Flux Field Oriented Control

    The article introduces an electric power generator, which uses an induction motor supplied by voltage source inverter (VSI). It describes usage possibilities and features of this solution. A laboratory model of a drive with the induction motor (IM) is controlled by microcomputer control system with TMS320F28335. Many types of speed regulation structures can be chosen for miscellaneous applications. In this application, induction motor works as a generator and is controlled by the flux oriented vector control. A control algorithm has been written for voltage source inverter and voltage source rectifier. Mathematical model of the control algorithm was created in MATLAB-SIMULINK to verify) the control algorithm features. In the end of article, there is summary of reached results in simulation.
