    Local and Global Models of Three-Phase Power Network State: A Comparison

  • Original language description

    Standard power network state models use global approaches to compute the network steady-state characteristics. In this paper, we present a different approach based on multi-agent system simulation. The presented system computes the three-phase power network steady-state using only local interactions of network elements based on the demands and capabilities of each node regarding the "production" and "consumption" of electric quantities such as voltage, current and power. We show the overall architectureof the system as well as the details of the steady-state calculation. The capabilities of the system are demonstrated on a model of a real computer network and the results are compared to values from a global model approach system.
