    The New Type of Resonant Active Power Filter

  • Original language description

    This paper describes circuit structure and used control methods of the new type of parallel active power filter (PAPF). By application of mentioned device is possible to correct current harmonics at power supply system. The PAPF compensates current harmonics by injecting opposite harmonics. This principle is applicable to any type of nonlinear load considering a harmonics source. In this case the PAPF converter with resonant DC - link operates as a voltage pulse source, so current is enforced by voltagepulses. The PAPF is normally implemented with pulse width modulated voltage source inverters. Typical controls of this filters are linear current control, digital deadbeat control, and hysteresis control. In these types of applications are used the special hysteresis control. In the paper will be mentioned reached results of practical realization.
