Specification of a software process, as well as its improvement, is a fundamental landmark and tenet that any successful software company must follow. One way how to support a software improvement process is using modelling and simulation. In this paperwe focus on applying a discrete event based modeling and simulation to the real case study of the software process improvement activity. After a brief description of a modeling and simulation possibilities and the description of our tool and method we present the results of his particular case study.
