Implementation of LMS Equalizer into Software-defined Radio System SDR
Original language description
This paper describes the minimization of signal impairment by implementation of equalization techniques into software-defined radio system (SDR). The reduction of bit error rate (BER) is the main reason for this. The key functional element of SDR systemis the software which can be flexibly changed according to user needs. LabVIEW 2010 development environment and graphical programming language were used. Adaptive equalization and filtration techniques were practically implemented and analyzed using these SW tools. Designed algorithms were implemented into modular PXI system for real measurement. Used PXI system consists of vector signal generator RF VSG NI PXI-5670 and vector signal analyzer RF VSA NI PXI-5661. The vector signal analyzer has a functionof the software-defined radio based on the general communication chain.
