    The possibilities of using GUI in environment of the mobile communication technologies are dicussed in the present article regarding the capabilities of mobile operating system Android, Windows Phone 7 and iOS. The mobile platform controls are compartedto the applications programming possibilities in one programming language and to the development environment with the possibility of deploying applications to the multiple operating systems. Our results are summarized in the conclusion.
