Contribution to unbalance during single-phase power supply railway
Original language description
One of the main factors causing asymmetry within a power distribution system is one-phase 25 kV, 50 Hz load brought about by the railways electric traction. Traction transformer station arrangement thanks to its simplicity provides a great reliability. On the other hand such a proved solution brings also some negative feature especially harmonics and voltage asymmetry. As the railways electric traction shares the same basic electric distribution system with other customers there is a need to measure, interpret and eliminate this influence as much as possible. This article deals with voltage asymmetry on the sub-tractions performed by Správa železniční dopravní cesty.
