Factors in the Adoption of Collaboration Software in a Management Innovation Context
Original language description
Successful collaboration is believed to be facilitated by effective collaboration software. This paper provides a case study of a complex collaborative project to deliver management innovation and how its team adopted a Microsoft SharePoint solution. Theteam of 26 partners participating in this collaborative project are 13 companies and 13 partners from educational and consultancy organizations, including VSB-Technical University of Ostrava. Findings were the impact of network effects, a complex interrelationship between Task-Technology Fit and Perceived Ease of Use, and the need for further research on the ineffectiveness of support mechanisms such as help files.
