Original language description
Video conferencing is a real time process that requires fast operations. In this paper a Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT)-based video compositing structure for multi-point video conferencing with a fast DCT method for integer and rational image resizing is presented. Whole compositing process is kept in the DCT domain to avoid comprehensive operations. Our procedure does not only improve speed but also the quality of the resized video frames. Proposed method is illustrated and compared with other methodsby means of simulation results with different video sequences.
