Original language description
The paper deals with the practical implementation of the propulsion unit with the low voltage permanent magnet synchronous motor in the small electric car. The control method is based on the sensorless control. The rotor position and rotor angular speedare calculated from the measurable electric quantities of the permanent magnet synchronous motor using computational block realized by the digital signal processor. The experiments were realized with permanent magnet synchronous motor which was suppliedby voltage inverter with low voltage. In conclusion, the experimental results are presented which were obtained by measurement on a laboratory stand with the AC drive and on the small city car.
