Electric Vehicle Energy Consumption Monitoring
Original language description
The requirements for supply management are important, inter alia, in the development and testing of components for electric traction vehicles. Since these vehicles can be operated at various distances from the development site, ensuring the data transmission to the remote supervision centre is crucial. The data can then carry information about the condition of individual components installed in the vehicle, energy consumption, current position, time, etc. The paper deals with monitoring of electrical energy consumption and data transmission from an electric vehicle. There is described the overall structure of the monitoring system which consists of a microcomputer control system, energy meter, device for measuring of the mobile device position and the data transmission using wireless technology.
