    The aim of this paper was to base cooperation with the Eye Clinic University Hospital Ostrava to compare the precision of optical biometry by paramedical personnel (General Nurse) with the results of ultrasound biometry performed by an experienced physician (ophthalmologist) using ultrasound Biometry and evaluate the need for routine measurement of duplicity. This work is focused on the comparison of biometric methods for measuring lengths of the eye in patients with cataract.
