Localization of Current Fields in the Vicinity of a Railway Platform
Original language description
The article deals with an examination of current fields in the vicinity of a railway platform of the SUDOP type. It compares a fault-free state in which the rail is connected with a gabion through a lightning arrester and a case in which there occurs a breakdown of the lightning arrester. The solution is reached with the use of the Comsol Multiphysics program, which solves partial differential equations by means of the finite element method.
