    Energy Management Strategies in Intelligent Office Building Using PI System

    For energy management in intelligent office buildings there is a large amount of software tools that enable the monitoring of individual conditions of operating and technical functions in buildings in real time. This article describes the PI system software tool by OSIsoft for remote comfortable monitoring of heating, cooling and forced ventilation in the building of the new Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Technical University of Ostrava with subsequent use of the strengthsof the PI system software tool for statistical analysis of the measured data. One of the objectives of the described implementation is the use of the collected information to reduce operational costs while optimizing settings of controlled operational and technical functions in the intelligent building.
