Analysis of channel propagation models based on calculated and measured data
Original language description
In this research various propagation models are analyzed and compared according to both of calculated and measured results. These propagation models depend on location, frequency range and clutter type such as urban, suburban and countryside. The propagation models have been proposed at the operating frequency of 900 MHz. The interaction between the electromagnetic waves and the environment reduces the signal strength, which is sent from transmitter to receiver that causes the path loss. It was noticed from the obtained results that SUI model showed the lowest path loss values in urban environment.
