Original language description
The paper deals with the design and construction of an IoT sensor for measuring high temperatures. Data transfer is provided using Sigfox technology. The paper describes the current HW design of the sensor as well as the SW applications for processing and visualization of measured data. The wireless sensor is based on the use of thermocouples to detect temperature. The developed wireless sensor can mainly be implemented in the measurement of high temperatures as a consequence of thermal events on old mine dumps in the Moravian-Silesian Region in the Czech Republic.
