This paper describes and compares 3 different control and modulation techniques for driving a 3-phase Vienna rectifier, with a focus on analysing its THD and FFT of resulted current and testing its behaviour during distorted grid. The modulations based on hysteresis current control, Voltage oriented control (VOC) based on sinusoidal PWM modulation (SPWM) and VOC based on Space Vector PWM modulation (SVPWM) were simulated and tested in PLECS simulation tool.
