THE MODELING OF GAS FLOW IN ROCK AND WASTE MATERIAL ENVIRONMENT
Original language description
After the closing of gassy coal excavations underground in areas of interrupted mining activities, there is a source of danger for inhabitants on the surface, and it is for several reasons. It has never been possible to mine all the coal deposit, and that is why after the finishing of mining activities sources of coal methane gas continued to remain underground, and has continued to be released for over 10 years. There are then unevenly deposited sources of methane underground, which are mostly not recorded on mapped groundwork. There are, for example no marginal seams, which haven't been mined. Excavating mine able seams disturbs the roof, and it is through a method, which depends on the properties of those layers, and it is a second unknown. Similarsituation can be found near deposits of municipal wastes or could arise during pumping the gas from waste deposits.
