The paper explains the intention of the project "The Implementation of Tools of Labour Market Spatial Analysis within the Frame of Labour Office Activity", which is performed in co-operation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic. The first results of processing data for 2 districts are presented using procedures and tools prepared in the project frame. The paper also introduces possibilities of multicriterion evaluation of municipalities, mapping of the transport accessibility of employers based mainly on public transport or the current unemployment situation in the town area. For the last one, data taken from the register of employment applicants and municipality population register was used. The data was aggregated forcells of the regular grid. The visualisation of grid values and the calculation of indicators document the situation in the labour market on a microscale.
