Morphological and qualitative changes of deposited fly ashes originated by microorganisms
Original language description
Long-term dumped fly ashes are "In situ" gradually occupated by various kinds of soil microorganisms, which probably participate in biotransformative processes due to their metabolic action, which results in an element and structural transformation of the dumped fly ashes. The tests concentrated on the effect of order Actinomceteae on the chemical composition of selected samples of lignite and bituminous coal fly ashes. At the same time, the tests aimed at determining the effect of actinomycetes isolated from the fly ashes dumpling ground on the morphology of the fly ashes dumpamorphous phase, so-called microspheres. We identified a catalytic effect of metabolites of the tested kind of actinomycetes on the extration of AL, Ca, Fe and destruction of amorphous spherical particles of fly ashes.
