Change of pyrite during bacterial leaching
Original language description
The aim of this paper is the suitability of bacterial leaching applied on a coal sample from the mines Dukla and Libik-locality. The results of this work show that using clean cultures of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans is in this case very good if we evaluatedesulphurisation from the point of view of pyrite sulphar. After one month of leaching, it is almost gone from the sample that containes much organic sulphar, which is produced by bacteria Thiobacillus ferrooxidans degraded only a little. The paper shows changes to pyrite during and after bacterial leaching.
