Stability of slope with road cut on Beskydy mountings
Original language description
The results of this study indicated a slope stability at minimum cohesion of 5 kPa and 19o friction angle. Because of road cut that has been excavated in the slope at lower than the above-mentioned values a model indicates the clay bed is bulging out. When trying to establish equilibrium within the slope with road cut the cohesion of the clay bed was raised gradually up to 15 kPa where slope stability was indicated by the model.
