Original language description
A theoretical calculation of SO2 emissions for non-additived coal and for additived coal with the efectiveness of desulphurization of 30 % was compiled on a basis of previously realized combustion tests and mathematical calculations. The target of this verification was to compare theoretical calculations with values measured upon combustion tests with brown-coal pellets, the production of which was being verified at VÚHU, a.s. Pellets are being made of brown-coal, bio-mass, additive agents, or, if needbe, other types of waste substances. After combustion tests had been realized, the measured values were compared to the values of a theoretical calculation and the possibility to use these calculations in order to determine SO2 values prior to the performance of combustion tests was verified.
