Original language description
The contribution deals with the development of underground coal mining industry in the Czech Republic during the last decade. The course of mining phasing out and liquidation of underground coal mines including subsequent ecological and safety problems connected with the mines liquidated is described here. A new way of an underground mine liquidation - stowing by hydraulic stowing manufactured on the basis of industrial wastes processed is mentioned.

Příspěvek se zabývá vývoje hlubinného dobývání uhlí v České republice v posledním desetiletí. Uzávírání a likvidace hlubinných dolů je spojena s ekologickými a bezpečnostními riziky. Ty jsou popsány v příspěvku. Novou cestou v likvidování dolů je ukládání průmyslových odpadů.
