The contribution describes procedures that are ones of results of the partial task of the project CEZ: J17/98: 273500007. Primarily it is a case of problems of information technology applications and the utilisation of visualisation procedures and virtual reality when managing the coal opencast mine. Furthermore, virtual model creation for the technology and the interaction between the scene and the process information are described. The procedure of model creation is described the result of which is arealised virtual scene corresponding to a real environment. The result is the presentation of the opencast mine, including the representation of information by using virtual reality tools.

Czech description
V článku je popsána problematika využití vizualiazačních postupů a virtuální reality při řízení uhelného lomu. Navržené postupy jsou jedním z výsledků řešení projektu CEZ: J17/98: 273500007/7. V úvodu je rozebrána problematika informačních technologií avizualizace. Dále popisuje vytvoření virtuálního modelu technologie a propojení scény s informacemi z procesu. Popisuje postup tvorby modelu, jehož výsledkem je realizovaná virtuální scéna odpovídající reálnému prostředí. Výsledkem je prezentace lomu včetně zobrazení informací s využitím prostředků virtuální reality.
