Original language description
The paper is aimed at the theoretical and experimental study of turning of materials. The most important physical and technical parameters were selected and then tested in the Laboratory of the Liquid Jet at the VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava. Themost important relationships among the technical and physical parameters are presented in the theoretical formula and then correlated with experimental results acquired during the set of experiments. The experiments were carried out on materials that form the base of interest at the Faculty of Mining and Geology where the Laboratory of the Liquid Jet belongs.
