    The application of sorption technology for the removal of contaminants of waste streams is favorable when biological treatments are not applicable. One sorbent that has had received little research are bean pods, and it is the aim of this project is to investigate the use of bean pods as a sorbent, specifically for the sorption of Cd, Cr, Pb and Zn from waste water.
