  • Original language description

    The paper deals with application of bacterial desulphurization on brown coal sample frrom locality Jiří in Sokolov. The coal from the locality in question is distinguished for a rather high content of sulphur in coal, and thus each technology that reduces the sulphur content in coal is welcome. The application of Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans bacteria helped to reduce the sulphur content about 30%.
