DESULPHATION SLUDGE
Original language description
Paper deals with the desulphation sludge and mixed water treatment sludge from mine water desulphation and its application (re-use) for mining waste water treatment. Technological procedure of mine water desulphation was developed at our institute. It consists of chemical precipitation by sodium aluminate and calcium hydroxide. Products of this technology are sludges consisting mainly of calcium sulphoaluminate. The potential of disposal and utilization of this sludge is main topic (for example, it canbe used in building materials). In this contribution were tested sludges obtained by sulphate precipitation from mine water in the locality of Sokolovská uhelná, a.s. First part of experimentation was to prepare desulphation sludge and determination of optimum dose for chemical sludge precipitation. Secondary we tested desulphation sludge and mixed water treatment sludge on mine water.
