ALTERNATIVNÍ PALIVA VYROBENÉ Z ODSÍŘENÉHO HNĚDÉHO UHLÍ
Original language description
The objective of the project was to point out at technical-technological procedures which permit preparation of brown coal with high sulphur content (which in its original state is unfit for use and sale in the fuel market) and produce applicable fuel for low and medium-output heat appliances that are not desulphurized. The research also dealt with biological pretreatment of high-sulphur brown coal applying the bacteria of Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans and the possibility of its reprocessing into the form of mixed fuel ? ecological briquettes which would comply with the valid legislation related to solid fuel and air conservation. The obtained results imply that the biological pretreatment helps to remove 50 % of sulphur from coal and having combustedthe briquettes made from the coal it is possible to produce fuel complying with almost all standards in force.
