The paper deals with verification of potencial biodegradation of POPs in the sediments of the Černá příkop. There were taken a mixed samples of sediments. In the samples were analyzed PAHs, congeners of PCBs an C10-C40. For the purposes of biodegradation, standard species of pure bacterial cultures of Pseumodonas putida and Rhodococcus sp. were applied.
