Virtual reality is a quite efficient tool for the computer-assisted presentation of information that is not, in the area of process control, utilized. It provides qualitatively different possibilities of working with models of production processes and possibilities of working with models in the course of simulation. The fundamental idea of this project consists in the connection of methods of intelligent algorithms, model creation using the VR capabilities and the development of new methods of creationof models of controlled processes and evaluation of results of simulation in the course of operative, tactical and strategic control of production processes. With regard to the professional orientation of research team, the application of project resultwill concentrate on the problems of production processes in the raw materials industry, where a large amount of data suitable for the creation of virtual scene connected to the spatial location of production capacity will be available.
