Module GNSS Prediction Tools v.1.0.2 is a module for ArcGIS 9.3.1, which is prepared to be installed into ArcGIS as a Toolbox. Main purpouse of the toolbox is a prediction of signals availability of GNSS satellites (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, SBAS) by usinga digital surface model. Main results of prediction are time indexed raster maps. The maps shows number of available satellites in area of interest. Results are saved as a NetCDF file or in spatial geodatabase (ESRI File Geodatabase). The application canbe used for prediction of satellite availability in wide areas at different level of detail. Level of detail depends on ressolution of source digital surface model (DSM). The toolbox includes another module that could be used for prepartion of DSM. DSMcould be build from digital terrain model and 2,5D (3D) vector objects, that are placed on surface of terrain relief.
