Generally, instruments of Business Intelligence (BI) enable to get some information from data which are subsequently used for effective decision processes. They are usually applied to the economic sphere and sphere of company management. Common tasks ofBusiness Intelligence are data pumps application, development of data warehouses, analytic tools, reporting, planning and forecasting. As late as in the last version of the MS SQL Server, a possible reporting of geographical data, or data which are related to the space, i.e. Geo Reporting, has been integrated. This article refers to possibilities of geographical data processing and their evaluation using the Business Intelligence Development Studio.
