USING PETRI NETS TO MODELLING UNDERGROUND MINE INERTING

  • Original language description

Underground coal mine environment is an environment with dynamic occurrence of the methane. In this environment is quite difficult to control various technological processes that are used in it. For effective decision-making themselves not only in the design of control systems is required to use appropriate support tools, among which are inherently models. This article describes the possibilities of creating models for technological process of collapse preventive inerting of the coalfaces in undergroundmine using Petri nets. The technological process of collapse preventive inerting is carried out by supply of compressed nitrogen to areas at risk of spontaneous combustion. Petri nets allow the modelling of parallel dynamic systems and systems with discrete time. In conjunction with the software HPSim or WinPeSim the individual processes can be modelled and then evaluate the results using a spreadsheet (Excel). Based on the results of the simulations it is then much easier to determine
