Planning and optimizing software for a limestone quarry
Original language description
This paper describes software developed for planning and optimizing limestone mining. The AutoCAD Civil 3D is used as a basic component enabling the use of both GIS applications and volume computation. User interface and application providing efficient way to work with geological model, volumetric and qualitative calculations and mining planning were created above this basic component. The other very important functionality of the application is to enable homogenization based on customer requirements.
