MEMBRANE PROCESSES FOR INDUSTRIAL WATSTEWATER TERATMENT
Original language description
The paper deals with treatment of wastewater from energy industry using membrane processes (electrodialysis). Prior to application of this technology is solved the influence of wastewater on the chosen type of membranes. Specifically, to eliminate the influence of formation soluble (insoluble) salts, this negatively affected water treatment technologies. The paper also summarizes the results of laboratory tests of electrodialysis. The aim of this research was to treatment of wastewater to quality corresponding with legislative limits for surface water (i.e. total dissolved solids below 1g.l-1).
