Original language description

This paper takes into account the efficiency valuation in safety measures against coal and gas outburst in deep underground mines. The costs required to predict and prevent the outbursts are specified. These costs are compared with losses and expenses caused by the outbursts themselves. It is to be assumed that the costs of predictive and preventive actions are expended effectively. The safety measures against the outbursts of coal and gas are integral part of work safety and health provisions.
