Original language description
In 2012-2013 the old copper mines in Špania Dolina and Ľubietová were investigated. This paper describes biologic diversity of selected mines (Andreas, Horná Ladislav, Mann-Fajtlová, and Maxmilián). The present biologic research consisted in detailed collection of invertebrates on walls and the floor of gallery. Vertebrates were recorded too. In total 21 species of invertebrates and 7 species of vertebrates are presented in this paper - 2 mollusc species (Mollusca), 1 mite species (Ixodida), 1 daddy long-leg species (Opiliones), 7 spider species (Araneae), 1 terrestrial isopod species (Oniscoidea), 1 beetle species (Coleoptera), 3 butterfly and moth species (Lepidoptera), 4 true fly and mosquito species (Diptera), 3 amphibian species (Amphibia) and 4 bat species (Chiroptera).
